Dow Schofield Watts Business Recovery LLP has been instructed by the directors to assist in the sale of a civil engineering business that delivers design, construction, maintenance and enhancement projects for both railway infrastructure and civil engineering developments.
Due to the financial position of the company, it is anticipated that a sale of the business and assets will be completed through a formal insolvency procedure.
Background
The Company began trading in 1993 providing civil engineering and construction services mainly within the rail sector. The Company trades from 5 leasehold sites located throughout the UK and has an experienced workforce. Services offered by the Company include complete packages for the rail sector encompassing buildings and civils, structures, earthworks and geotechnical, lineside infrastructure, vegetation clearance, fencing, drainage and permanent way works. The Company also manage specialist industrial and commercial schemes including multi-model distribution warehouses, terminal and office buildings, heat and power plants and transport interchange projects.
