Michael is an RICS Registered Valuer and Professional Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, (RICS) specialising in Machinery and Business Assets, and a fourth generation auctioneer. He is responsible for JPS Chartered Surveyors Insolvency Support Services. With a hands-on and personal approach, clients recognise and appreciate the high levels of services that Michael and his team provide, acting with diplomacy and urgency.
Michael is an experienced valuer familiar to many Insolvency Practitioners, with a great understanding of clients’ requirements. He has previously performed duties for SHM Smith Hodgkinson for over nine years, becoming Insolvency Partner before joining JPS Chartered Surveyors. Michael manages the professional valuation services in relation to insolvency instructions and has considerable experience in handling insolvent companies, with a wealth of contacts who purchase all varieties of machinery and business assets.
When he is not working, Michael regularly attends boxing training and has successfully fought as Mike ‘THE GAVEL’ Gabel at a white collar charity boxing match in April 2010, he is also a keen 5-a-side football player and supporter of Manchester City Football Club. On top of all these activities, he is devoted to his wife and three children.
